Internet Marketing Analysis Tools

Everybody who invests in on-line marketing will at some point start to look for the answer to a number of basic questions:
  • Which marketing activities are generating visitors and customers?
  • What has it cost to attract each visitor, or each customer?
  • How much revenue do I generate from my investment?
  • IM-Value is designed to provide the answer to these questions. While the traditional approach of analysing web-server logs gives some indication of numbers of visitors, IM-Value enables users to identify the marketing activity that has attracted each visitor, and which of these visitors have become a customer. Adding details of the revenue generated enables users to optimise their investment in Internet marketing.

    IM-Value is easy to implement; setting the system up can take no more than a few hours. Users can then start analysing the effectiveness of their e-marketing immediately. Furthermore, IM-Value can be used with any internet marketing activity, including:
  • Text linking
  • Banner adverts
  • E-mail campaigns
  • Pay per click (for example: Google, Yahoo and MSN)
  • IM-Value will start to record information relating to each marketing activity as soon as details of the activity are added to the system.

    IM-Value records the number of visitors to your site that are the direct result of each marketing activity, and how many of those are converted to a lead (or customer). The information can be represented in a variety of formats (by activity, by campaign, etc.) and downloaded as a spreadsheet for further analysis if required.

    It is also possible to register within the system, the costs associated with individual marketing activities and the revenue generated from the resulting new customers. With this information, a return on investment can be established for each marketing activity. This enables users to decide which marketing is working, and which is clearly not.

    IM-Value also enables users to identify a wealth of information about individual leads (or customers) answering for example the following questions:
  • Via which marketing activity did this specific lead/customer find me?
  • Which specific search criteria did they use?
  • How much revenue has been generated from a specific search engine or search criteria?
  • On which group of customers do I achieve the highest return on investment, regardless of the marketing activity?
  • IM-Value can help users identify pay-per-click fraud. On average 10-15% of the clicks billed as part of a pay-per-click campaign are found to be fraudulent. IM-Value will establish the extent of this. The information can then be passed to the pay-per-click supplier and a refund requested.

    It is possible to integrate IM-Value with a CRM system, in particular our customer relationship system, CRM-Value. The combination of these products enables users to proactively market products and services to ‘interested’ groups of leads/customers, manage the sales process from beginning to end, and convert Internet leads into customers.
